From the home of Tokaido Shinkansen of the Nagoya station to Tshubakijinjya Shrine is the zone of Tsubaki town.It becomes the object area of Nagoya station Taiko-dori City planning conference.The conference was established in May, 2012 and Tsubaki Festival started in the autumn of the year.The festival greets the 4th time in the autumn of this year.For the purpose towards opening to traffic Linear Chuo Shinkansen, this festival did not start and was carried out.However, when the plan progressed, the purpose which cooperates in Linear opening to traffic was added.2014 are the 50th anniversary of Tokaido Shinkansen opening to traffic, and a year of a construction start of Linear Chuo Shinkansen, and "Welcome Linear" was added to the theme.

The main venue of this festival is Tsubaki venue. And Tsubakijinjya Shrine is also the venue from 2015.Professional schools and high schools are located in this area.Tsubaki Festival is held in cooperation with school festival of those schools.

Dela is the idol group which works this area at a base.Activity was started at the same period as Tsubaki Festival starting.

In the east gate of the Nagoya station, large-scale development is progressing by the major company.This area of the west entrance of the Nagoya station aims at town planning; which employed the culture of this town efficiently.Construction of the center used as the base of cultural exchanges of Asia etc. is proposed also to Aichi Prefecture.
